Wednesday Night Fellowship

They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
         — Acts 2:42

Wednesday Night Fellowship was started at FUMC Tallassee as a way to encourage our members to spend more time with one another, giving busy families or individuals a night off from cooking and cleaning.  Following the Wednesday Night Meal, programs are available for all ages, allowing for the study of God’s Word and further fellowship within small group settings.

Faithful Fretters Dulcimer Group – room 305
It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner, an expert, or just want to learn!  You’ll find welcome among the Faithful Fretters, who come together each week under the tutelage of Bob & Rose Taunton to learn and practice bluegrass-style, old-timey, and other hymns.
During the summers, we offer “Koinonia,” a new Wednesday Night program that is meant to further strengthen the feeling of community and unity within our church.  Volunteers help to prepare meals, the proceeds of which are used for various fundraising efforts.  Following the meal, fun games and activities suitable for all ages are enjoyed by everyone!
